Home to the University of Minnesota men's and women's golf teams. It's a fairly easy track with many wide fairways and short holes, but has a lot of mature trees and a wonderful "old course" feel to it.
#13 is a long, dogleg par 5. Legend has it that when Jack Nicklaus played it (as a visitor from the Ohio State golf team) he hit driver - 6 iron. No one I've ever played with has ever reached the green in two, even with two big wood shots.
Greens fees are cheap, and a lot of students/faculty have taken up the game, so tee times are at a premium. If you can't stand waiting on every shot, don't even bother playing after about 9 a.m.; your round will take at least 4:30. Get out early if you can.
