Willinger's
A Garrett Gill classic. Short but challenging. The front nine is, for the most part, wide open, so a player can get away with a few wayward shots. Things better be straightened out by #10, however, as the back nine is much tighter, and mostly carved out of woods. Bring some extra balls.

With the possible exception of #1 at Mississippi Dunes, the opening tee shot at Willinger's is one of the most intimidating in the area. The direct route to the hole requires a 220+ yard carry over water ... kinda tough if you're just lacing up your spikes.

The course would rate higher on the dack.com scale, but for the neo-Nazi course rangers. Slow play should not be tolerated, but these guys harass group after group to "keep up the pace," even if they are. It's bullshit.
